Koronnis Davis, is a loving husband of 12 years and a father to four wonderful boys. Davis has a BA in Criminal Justice, from Union College in Barbourville KY, where he played for four years on the Union Bulldogs football team. Koronnis used his passion for football and currently serves a defensive backs coach for the Jackson High football program. Koronnis is currently a Lieutenant for the Michigan Department of Correction. He served as a Minister at Dominion Ministries for 5 years and worked very closely with the Men’s and Youth Ministries. Koronnis’s passion for mentoring came early on as he was blessed with the opportunity of having been mentored himself. He understands the importance of having a positive Male Role Model and through M.O.V.E. he wants to give back to as many young men as he can.

Michael Jones graduated from Urbana University.  Michael has more than 15 years of experience rehabilitating and mentoring youth within the Jackson community. As a high school student, Michael participated as a mentee in an after school mentoring program.  Michael has worked with the County of Jackson for over 13 years, working at the Jackson County Youth Center as a shift supervisor.  Michael currently serves as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Jackson County 12th District Court. Michael has also served on various committees throughout the years within the county and state.  Michael has been selected to receive numerous awards for his outstanding performance working with youth in the Jackson community.

Chris Heydenburg is a proud father of 3 incredible children and a devoted husband to his one-of-a kind wife of 18 years. Chris is a Jackson native and graduated from Northwest High School. He went on to compete with the soccer team at Spring Arbor University and finished with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management and Organization Development. While finishing school, Chris started his business, Heydenburg Homes, LLC in 1998. After many years, the Lord had better plans for Chris and called he and his family into ministry. Uncertain, where that call would lead, he and his family were obedient and trusted in God’s plan for their future. Chris is now the lead pastor of Found Church, planted September 2019 at The Middle School at Parkside. Over the last couple of years,  Chris and his family have had the privilege to foster a number of children and have found that to be very fulfilling.  Chris joined our MOVE Team in 2019 and is looking forward to many years of leading our young men into success.

GREG ADAMS, MA, SRAS

Greg is a proud father of 5 children and a devoted husband to a beautiful and inspirational wife of 18 years. Greg is a Michigan State University Alumni with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Masters degree in Emotional Impairments. Greg previously served as the Program Director at Western Career Prep High School for the Western School District. He currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Jackson High School for Jackson Public Schools. He has more than 17 years of experience teaching emotionally impaired students, rehabilitating at-risk youth and engaging youth in relevant life skills lessons/activities, anger management, and team building exercises to build social appropriateness. Greg is also the Pastor and Founder of Revive Ministries of Jackson. Greg’s passion for the community has awarded him the opportunity to volunteer in various capacities ranging from teaching marriage and family classes, hosting community events, to facilitating the significance of positive peer culture.

CODY ZONTZ, BA

Cody Zontz was born and raised in Jackson, matriculating through Jackson Public Schools. After high school he attended Michigan State University where he originally studied integrated sciences with a focus on education, though he graduated from the Criminal Justice program. Following college he held positions in operational management before deciding that community and people based professions were where his passion truly stood. He transitioned to Child Protective Services and eventually moved on to becoming a Trooper with the Michigan State Police where he now serves as a defensive tactics instructor and strength and conditioning coach. He is extremely passionate about having a positive impact on those around him and has enjoyed being involved with youth mentorship and coaching with the Jackson youth athletics programs.

Tedric Gibbs hails from Columbus, OH, but relocated and was raised in Jackson, MI.  He is a husband and father of two children. Tedric is an alumni of Jackson High School and Eastern Michigan University where he studied Language, Literature, and Writing.  Tedric serves as Sergeant with the Michigan Department of State Police, where he specializes in leadership training and strength and conditioning instructor.  Prior to his service with the Michigan Department of State Police,  Tedric served as a Residential Coordinator at Starr Commonwealth, where he mentored at risk youth.  Tedric has passion for coaching, mentoring and teaching youth of all all ages.

Jeffrey Williams is a husband and father of 2 beautiful children. Jeff is a Social Worker for Taylor Preparatory High School in Taylor, MI. Jeff previously served as a Limited License Social Worker working as a Clinician/ Case Manager at Southwest Counseling Solutions. Jeff has experience serving at risk youth and families through individual and family therapy.  He is a former collegiate athlete who played at Wayne State University. He is also a National Olympic weightlifter. Jeffrey's experience helps him to empower children and families to lead them to a healthier life style.

Stephen Nabors has years of experience coaching and mentoring youth throughout the State of Michigan and the Midwest Region.  He is an advocate for college access and readiness for ALL students through outreach focused on financial literacy and financial aid knowledge.  Currently, Stephen Nabors is serving as Senior Financial Aid Administrator at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
